At some point, 74-22274 was assigned to B Company - "Innkeepers", 2nd Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, located at Camp Humphrey, in the Republic of Korea (ROK) (South Korea). When the United States involvement in the Vietnam conflict ended in the mid 1970's, the 271st ASHC was relocated to Korea and re-designated B Company on an unknown date. The 501st Aviation Regiment was re-designated the 52nd Aviation Regiment on an unknown date. As of 28 September 2001, B Company, and the sister unit A Company - "Blackcats", were both located at Camp Humphrey, ROK. A Company was the former 213th ASHC. 74-22274 remained assigned to B Company through approximately January 1990. On 2 March 1990, 74-22274 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 90-00192. The last known location of 74-22274 was at Boeing during the conversion.
