             Boeing Helicopter, Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on July 12, 2004, a $13,478,954 firm-fixed-price contract for 50 rotary heads for the Chinook (CH-47). Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.           June 2004

 

 

             The Boeing Co., Mesa, Ariz., was awarded on June 30, 2004, a $7,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for overhaul, repair, and recapitalization of the AH-64 CH-47 Weapon System. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              The Boeing Co., Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded on May 7, 2004, a $24,925,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for integration of the common avionics architecture system into the CH-47F Program. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 20, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on April 15, 2004, a $7,781,032 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 26 Rotary Wing Heads. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 7, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 2, 2004. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-03-G-0012).

 

             Parker Aerospace, Irvine, Calif., was awarded on April 2, 2004, a delivery order amount of $28,776,700 as part of a $155,517,317 firm-fixed-price contract for parts in support of the Apache (AH-64), Blackhawk (UH-60), Chinook (CH-47), and Kiowa (OH-58) helicopters and the T-700 engines. Work will be performed in Kalamazoo, Mich. (99.1 percent) and Irvine, Calif. (.9 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 15, 2002.              Hamilton Sundstrand Corp., San Diego, Calif., was awarded on March 11, 2004, a delivery order amount of $6,644,100 as part of a $6,644,100 firm-fixed-price contract for gas turbine engines for the CH-47. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by August 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be performed in Irvine, Calif. (99.9 percent), and Kalamazoo, Mich. (.1 percent), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Oct. 15, 2002.              Westwind Technologies Inc., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on Jan. 26, 2004, a delivery order amount of $6,555,445 as part of a $70,663,576 firm-fixed-price contract for manufacture and assembly of electrical and mechanical kits, spares kits, and replacement parts for the full authority digital engine control, CH-47D Chinook helicopter. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 25, 2001. The U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-99-D-0014).

 

             Honeywell International Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on Jan. 20, 2004, an $114,720,502 firm-fixed-price contract for CH-47 T-55-714A engines and fielding kits. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz. (50%) and Greer, S.C. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              The Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on Dec. 19, 2003, a $13,900,000 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Improved Cargo Helicopter Low Rate Initial Production Component Recapitalization of 39 Components for each of the 16 CH-47G aircraft. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              19 December: Boeing Defense and Space Group, Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded a delivery order amount of $44,233,585 as part of a $44,233,585 firm-fixed-price contract for Aft, Forward, and Combining Transmissions. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              The Boeing Co., Mesa, Ariz., was awarded on Dec. 8, 2003, a $7,118,324 firm-fixed-price contract for one each CH-47 Structural Tier 2 and 3 Kit and two each of the AH-64 Tier 2 Kits. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (70 percent), and Mesa, Ariz. (30 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Sept. 24, 2003.              Washington, 5 December 2003: Boeing Military Aircraft and Missile Systems Group, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $278,628,423 modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 16 MH-47G aircraft. Work will be performed at Boeing's Ridley Park, Pennsylvania facilities, and is expected to be completed by January 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on 18 January 2003. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (DAAH23-03-C-0022).

 

             On 2 December 2003, the Boeing Company was awarded a $151,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract for seven CH-47F new build helicopters. Work will be performed at Ridley Park, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.              On 24 November 2003, Parker Aerospace, Irvine, California, was awarded a delivery order amount of $26,216,265 as part of a $100,176,508 firm-fixed-price contract for support of the Apache (AH-64), Blackhawk (UH-60), Chinook (CH-47) and Kiowa (OH-58) helicopters and T-700 engines. Work will be performed in Irvine, and is expected to be completed by 30 September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
