   59-04985 was assigned as the subject of joint Army / Air Force adverse weather and extreme temperature testing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio, Eglin AFB, Florida, and Eielson AFB, Alaska.

   In July 1962, the Department of Defense redesignated all U.S. military aircraft to a new system. All YHC-1B helicopters became YCH-47A.

   As of 11 April 1975, the last location of 59-04985 is unknown.
