   62-02114 was the first aircraft on the third production contract (contract number unknown) awarded to Boeing. Beginning with 62-02114, all contracts were awarded for the production of CH-47 helicopters, instead of the previous designation as HC-1B.

   At some point, 62-02114 was possibly in storage at Davis Monthan through about June 1991.

   On 29 August 1991, 62-02114 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 91-00263.

   as of 29 August 1991, the last known location of 62-02114 was at Boeing during the conversion.
