             86-01653, Boeing D model kit number M3158, was a CH-47D helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 31 March 1987. As of 22 June 1998, 86-01653 had accumulated 937.4 D model hours and 4,239.0 total aircraft hours.

   86-01653 was a conversion from the original A model Chinook 65-07993.

   On 14 April 1986, 86-01653 was inducted into the D model program, converted, and initially scheduled for assignment to Fort Carson, Colorado.

   As of 1 January 2002, this aircraft was 35.8 years old.

   As of 24 April 2005, the last known location of 86-01653 was assigned to Company F - "River City Hookers", 106th Aviation, Army National Guard, located in the State of Iowa.
