             08-08046, Boeing Vertol Tab Number unknown, U.S. Army Tab Number M8046, was a CH-47F helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 27 March 2009. As of 1 July 2009, 08-08046 accumulated 46.2 aircraft hours.

   08-08046 was a new build airframe that utilized the power train components (blades, engines and transmissions, etc.) from 86-01648.

   08-08046 was initially assigned to B Company - "Pachyderms", 6th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

   As of 25 July 2009, the last known location of 08-08046 was at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

   Aircraft status: Flyable.

 

 

             The following CH-47F Chinook helicopters were utilized to support the train-up and fielding of B Company - "Pachyderms", 6th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in mid 2009.
